A beautiful piece of vintage North Carolina redware pottery by folk artist Nancy Owens (later Nancy Owens Brewer)

Made in Seagrove in 1989, this adorable and functional ceramic spoon rest features a hand-drawn mother duck and her duckling with native cattail plants growing on the water’s edge.
