Handmade and elegantly hand-painted piece of North Carolina folk art from Traditions Pottery in Lenoir / Blowing Rock, NC

Soft white glaze body and decorated with bright blue and green glazes. The coasters feature hand-painted wildflowers, vines, and a dragonfly. One of the 4 has an elegant textured surface with blue glaze outer ring. Signed “JB Calhoun Traditions” on the bottom.

In excellent vintage condition—no cracks or chips. Small cork feet on the underside are in used condition. One is missing.
