Handmade and signed 1998 ceramic dish by North Carolina folk potter Jean Teague

Jean Teague was the wife of Fred Teague and co-owner of Teague’s Frogtown Pottery studio. Alongside Fred, a member of the renowned Teague pottery family, she made handcrafted traditional, functional stoneware in the Seagrove area.

This beautiful vintage stoneware bowl features a subtle heart shape and bright blue spongeware glaze decoration.
