Handmade and signed 5″ decorative and utilitarian ceramic spoon rest by North Carolina folk artist Tommy Nichols

William Thomas Nichols is the son of Garry and Rebecca Nichols, who established Nichols Pottery in the Seagrove area.

Made at Nichols Pottery in Eagle Springs, NC – 1996

This piece features a hand-painted heart design made of flowers, vines, and leaves. It has a bright red sponge-glazed upper rim.

Good pre-owned condition. No chips or cracks. Underside shows signs of use and small round marks from protective feet that were applied at some point in the past. Please see photos for details
