The North State Pottery Company was a prominent art pottery producer based in Lee County near Sanford, North Carolina from 1924 to 1959. Founded in a region known as a major producer of brick and pottery, the company produced functional and decorative items, including vases, pitchers, and pansy vases. Key early potters associated with North State Pottery include Jonah Franklin Owen and Charlie Boyd Craven.

Excellent vintage condition for its age. No chips or cracks. Dark burn mark on one of the slit lips which appears to be from the original kiln firing. Partially-glazed stamp on the underside (See photos for details)
