Handmade and signed 5.25″ vase made at Dover Pottery in 1987

Al and Milly McCanless opened Dover Pottery in 1983, and became well-known for their crystalline glazes and hand-painted majolica designs.

Signed on the underside: “Dover Potter, 1987″

The vase has a maker’s stamp on the bottom as well.

This vase is thick and sturdy, and features a beautiful hand-painted floral design reminiscent of embroidered flower motifs.

Excellent pre-owned condition for its age. No chips or cracks. Underside shows signs of light use. Please see photos for details.

Size: Approximately 5 1/4″ tall and 3 1/2” in diameter at the rim

Colors: Light blue over natural clay with burgundy, yellow, green, and brown detailing
