A beautiful vintage Wake Forest University greeting card designed by the prominent NC illustrator Jerry Miller
Jerry Miller (1943–2024) was a renowned North Carolina artist known for meticulously documenting historic buildings, landmarks, and vanishing scenes across the state. Based in Raleigh and Cary, he drew over 4,000 detailed illustrations of churches, houses, and landmarks. Jerry Miller also founded the annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival in Cary, NC, which is well-known in the Triangle region.

This folding card is printed on both sides and features a classic block lettered WF with the WFU college seal on the front. Inside the seal is the Wake Forest University crest, which centers on a Chi-Rho (XP) symbol—the oldest monogram for Christ—flanked by Alpha (A) and Omega (O). Created in 1909, it signifies sharing the light of Christ, often associated with the motto Pro Humanitate. On the back, the Demon Deacon mascot is shown with his top hat and bow tie.
