Condition: Very Good. Covers/wraps are moderately age-toned with discoloration around the edges & a two-inch scuff on back. But still, overall, bright. Book itself is square & firm. Text-block edges & endpapers are faintly toned. The pages are pointedly clean & bright—with no writing, no underlining, no highlighting, no tears, no stains, no foxing, no foul odor, etc.

“WONDER DOG is better known as W. D.… In 1974, W. D. wandered across the railroad tracks to the GSO REGIONAL AIRPORT. This is located in central North Carolina at Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem. W D. came first to the air cargo building and one airline’s ramp servicemen started to feed him, as he was not in too good physical shape. He gained about 30 pounds in a month.”
