Large multicolor screen printed graphic on the back: “Ride the Dragon” + artistic interpretation of the Dragon’s Tail aka US Route 129. The dragon’s eyes and nose are peaking over the hills with smoke coming from his nostrils.
“The Tail of the Dragon” is a famous stretch of highway running through North Carolina and Tennessee with “318 curves in 11 miles.” Known as one of America’s premier roads for motorcyclists and sports car enthusiasts, the Tail of the Dragon runs between the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee National Forest, offering intense, non-stop technical driving without any intersecting roads. The main section of scenic roadway begins near Deals Gap, NC, and runs north to the Tennessee line. The road is known for its intense hairpins, vertical drops, and heavy forest scenery.
