Large multicolor screen printed graphic on the back: Tattered American Flag underneath a map of US Route 129, “The Tail of the Dragon,” a famous stretch of highway running through North Carolina and Tennessee with “318 curves in 11 miles.” The design pinpoints and labels a wide array of famous curves and landmarks along the road.
Known as one of America’s premier roads for motorcyclists and sports car enthusiasts, the Tail of the Dragon runs between the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee National Forest, offering intense, non-stop technical driving without any intersecting roads.
This famous stretch of scenic roadway begins near Deals Gap, NC, and runs north to the Tennessee line. The road is known for its intense hairpins, vertical drops, and heavy forest scenery.
